Mukthi Natheshwara temple is just 30 km away from Bangalore near Binnamangala at Nelamangala. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and was constructed by King Kulothunga Cholan in the 10th century.
Nandi temple is a very old ancient shrine located near Basavangudi. The main deity worshipped in this temple is a bull, it is Lord Shiva’s Vahana (vehicle). Nandi temple was built by Kempegowda in 1537 in a Dravidian architectural style.
